What data can I track using JustOpened?
With JustOpened, your email tracking pixel and tracking links can track the following data points. This data is collected whenever your pixel is triggered or a link is clicked.
- Date & Times: Used for the Activity Timeline and Time of Day heatmaps.
- IP-Addresses: Used to determine geographical locations (World Map & top countries).
- User-Agents: Used to identify device types, operating systems, and browsers.
- Custom Data (Optional): Personalized tags or recipient identifiers.
Control and Privacy
You have full control over this data. Using your campaign's **Privacy Settings**, you can disable any of these properties. For example, if you don't need location data, you can disable IP tracking entirely.
Unique Opens & Clicks
In addition to total counts, JustOpened can track **Unique Interactions**. This ensures that even if a recipient opens your email ten times, it only counts as one unique open in your primary stats. This can be toggled during campaign creation.
Visualizing your data
Based on the data collected, we render professional charts on your dashboard:
- Line Charts: Visualize opens over time.
- Heatmaps: See which days and hours are most active.
- World Maps: Interactive visualization of global engagement.
- Donut Charts: Breakdown of devices (Mobile vs Desktop).
Exporting to CSV
All tracked data can be exported to CSV files for your own internal analysis. This includes raw timestamps, masked IP addresses, and custom tags. CSV export is available on all professional and business plans.
