Why do I have tracked data before I sent my email?

It's common to see a few "opens" on your dashboard before you've even hit the send button. There are three main reasons for this:

Method 1: IP-Blacklisting

If you know for certain that you tracked yourself, you can add your own IP-address to the blacklist. This excludes your activity from all analytics globally across your account.

Go to IP-Blacklist

Method 2: Pause before sending

You can pause data collection during the email composition phase. Go to "Advanced settings" when creating your campaign and toggle "Paused". Once your email is sent, simply click **Resume** on the analytics page to start tracking recipients.

Why this happens: Most email clients (Gmail, Outlook, etc.) "render" your email several times while you are typing it. Each render loads the tracking pixel, which our system logs as a valid open.
