Why do I have tracked data right after sending my email?

If you see "opens" immediately after sending your email, these are likely "false opens" caused by automated systems rather than your recipient.

Why does this happen?

Some email providers (like Gmail and Outlook) automatically scan, cache, or copy images in incoming emails to check for security threats or to improve performance. This loading of the image triggers our tracking pixel.

How to prevent false opens

To ensure your data is as accurate as possible, follow this simple workflow:

Start Paused
When creating your campaign, go to Advanced Settings and toggle Paused.

Send your email
Compose and send your email normally.

Wait and Resume
Wait 1-2 minutes for automated scans to finish, then click Resume on your campaign dashboard.
